This speices is not regularly recorded at Mai Po, and scattered sightings were reported in the area.

I used a 28-135mm lens and flash.

There was a massive emergence event of Ischnura senegalensis when thousands of teneral and immature individuals were seen by the rehabilitated freshwater pond in the reserve.

I used a 400mm lens at its minimum focusing distance (3.5m) , shot handheld under nature light.
