Location: small pond, part of an overflow from a large, canal-like waterway. Under a road bridge, completely in shade, very dark and muddy indeed, Khon Kaen
Sighting frequency(in KK): common in this area (not seen anywhere else, but common here)
Notes: a female and female in copula. Very difficult to spot. They live under a road bridge, along with C. marginipes and C. ciliata (which live outside the bridge in daylight on a similar, muddy, but green, overflow pond
Please note: If I am wrong with my identification (and I often am), please feel free to email me.

Many thanks to Noppadon Makbun for the ID - I thought this was a C. vitta vitta!! Proves I know nothing!
A male.
Spotted a small number of males but no females at Khao Soi Dao NP, and also saw 1 male at Pang Sida NP, Sa Kaew.
Many thanks to Noppadon Makbun for confirming the I.D.
A male.
Spotted a small number of males but no females at Khao Soi Dao NP, and also saw 1 male at Pang Sida NP, Sa Kaew.
Note: I managed to capture this specimen by hand. It then played dead for about 2 minutes, before flying off (see other photos).
Many thanks to Noppadon Makbun for confirming the I.D.
A female.
Spotted a number of males and females at Khao Soi Dao NP, and Khao Khrating NP.
Note: the markings on the end segments seem to be inconsistent with the female. Maybe changes with age.
