This dragonfly was patrolling a steep, shaded streambed, with waterfalls, within a large area of original forest. It hovered occasionally over small puddles remaining in the streambed.
At least one and possibly two other large (Aeshnid?) dragonflies were also briefly observed at the site.

I think this is a female Paracercion calamorum dyeri, but I am not totally sure. This was with a number of males of that species.
At a small crystal clear pond just outside the headquarters of Khao Soi Dao NP.
