But body pattern and markings same as male. I would not be able to tell it is a Neurothemis terminate if I did not see the pair joining together several seconds ago. This photo was taken when this female took a few seconds rest before going ahead to laying eggs. The ovipositing took less than a minute after which she flew away leaving the male continue guarding his territory. © Wong Best Male Pic Best Female Pic
