The link Renaud provided is wonderful and I was going to suggest you the
same. In addition to it, you can get in touch with the Zoological survey of
India. They have many publications regarding odonates. I found following
odonates during my short stay at Naukuchiatal and Sattal last year:

spp.  *Family:Gomphidae* ** 1. Unidentified spp.   *Family:Libellulidae* **
1.      Brachythemis contaminate 2.      Crocothemis servilia 3.      Orthetrum
Sabina 4.      Orthetrum triangulare 5.      Orthetrum pruinosum 6.
  Pantala
flavescens 7.      Trithemis aurora 8.      Trithemis festiva
